PatronBase's "not (just) for profit" pricing philosophy

Over 20 years ago, our founder John Caldwell coined the phrase of “not (just) for profit”, and it’s a philosophy we live by to this day. Making a profit is important in allowing us to continue to invest in our products – but it’s not the be-all and end-all.

We do what we do because we’re passionate about the arts, culture and heritage sectors, and helping organisations like you to thrive and connect with your audience is what gets us out of bed and raring to go each day.

So what’s that got to do with pricing?

Well, at PatronBase, we don’t believe in “one size fits all” – not for our software, and not for how we price it either.

Your quotation to implement PatronBase is as unique as your organisation, prepared in consultation with one of our Partnership Managers to take account of the scale of your organisation, the tools and services you need and your budget. Whether you’re seeking a solution for one part of your organisation only, or an organisation-wide strategic solution, our team tailors pricing to suit your needs and budget.

Our core product, encompassing CRM, event and admission ticketing, eCommerce, marketing, business intelligence, memberships, donations and more provides a comprehensive range of features at a competitive price, whether you’re welcoming 1,000 visitors or hundreds of thousands. Additional modules including retail, point of sale, inventory, fundraising, venue management, at-seat ordering and more may be added to make your perfect package. Consultancy, implementation, training and bespoke development too are tailored to your needs.

When pricing to meet your needs, as well as taking into account the range of functionality you will use, we consider the scale of your usage and how this fits into your organisation’s business planning.

Our solution is priced not only to grow with you, but to reflect your cashflow. For organisations with reserves to invest or funding to support organisational change, our perpetual license and low annual running costs will offer the best value in the long term. Alternatively, organisations wishing to smooth their cash flow may benefit from our fixed-annual and all-inclusive pricing; whilst organisations more sensitive to the peaks and troughs of our industry may prefer a commission-based agreement.

Above all, what’s most important is finding a solution which perfectly suits your organisation, and making it accessible to you to revolutionise your connection with your audience.
